Nougyou Jieitai Zoom Bot

Nougyou Jieitai Zoom Bot is an unlisted, self-hosted Zoom meeting transcription bot for authorized members of the Yamato Group Discord server.

This app is not intended for public Marketplace discovery. Access is limited to authorized users who receive the app authorization link through the Yamato Group’s internal workflow.

Add to Zoom

The Add to Zoom link is used to authorize the Zoom app before using the Discord-based meeting bot workflow.

What this app does

The app allows an authorized Zoom user to connect their Zoom account so that a visible Meeting SDK bot can join Zoom meetings through an internal Discord workflow.

Authorized users paste a Zoom meeting URL into a designated Discord channel. The bot then joins the Zoom meeting as a visible participant named “Zoom文字起こしBot”.

The bot does not record automatically. Recording begins only after the Zoom host or an authorized participant grants recording permission inside the Zoom meeting.

After the meeting ends, recorded meeting audio is processed in a self-hosted environment and transcribed using a local Whisper transcription service. The final transcript is posted only to the designated internal Discord output channel.

How to use

  1. Authorize the Zoom app using the Add to Zoom link.
  2. Join or create a Zoom meeting using the authorized Zoom account.
  3. Paste the Zoom meeting URL into the designated Discord channel.
  4. The Zoom bot joins the meeting as a visible participant.
  5. Grant recording permission inside Zoom when prompted.
  6. Speak during the meeting.
  7. End the Zoom meeting.
  8. The transcript is posted to the designated Discord channel.

Data handling

The app may process Zoom meeting URLs, Zoom OAuth connection metadata, bot status, recording status, meeting audio after recording permission is granted, and transcript output.

Meeting audio is processed only in the self-hosted environment. The app does not send meeting audio or transcripts to third-party AI transcription providers.

OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and are used only to authorize the meeting bot to join Zoom meetings on behalf of the authorized user.

App removal and support

Users may remove the app from Zoom App Marketplace > Manage > Added Apps.
